GenU Kenya, launched on August 5th 2020 is a multi-stakeholder partnership that brings together government institutions, multilateral organizations, civil society organizations and the private sector to meet the urgent need for expanded education, training and employment opportunities for young people aged 10-24 years by 2030 while making sure that girls, marginalized, those living with disabilities, young people on the move, and in situations of armed conflict are not left behind.

Generation Unlimited believes that if the largest generation of young people in history is prepared for the transition to work, the potential for global progress is unlimited.

 Vision

GenU’s vision is aligned to the Generation Unlimited global goal of ensuring that every young person age 10-24 years either in education, training and employment by 2030.

Mission

To promote education, skills, empowerment and employment for young people by ‘building a multi-stakeholder public private partnership between youth, development partners, international finance institutions, private investors and other Kenyan stakeholders that catalyzes capital, demonstrates effective models and influences policy in support of replicable and/or scalable youth development initiatives and youth-led transformative action across Kenya.’
